“The “Saving at Home, Future in Our Hands” project, which creates a sense of savings awareness against environmental and economic impacts, reached 2500 women”
The “Saving at Home, Future in Our Hands” project, organized for women living in the areas where 27 energy centers of Akfen Renewable Energy company are located, under the coordination of Turkey Human Resources Training and Health Foundation (TİKAV), founded by Akfen Holding, has been completed.
In the project, in which face-to-face training was provided to 2,500 participants, it was aimed to create awareness among rural women on the adoption of saving methods within the family and the creation of a lifestyle compatible with nature in today’s world where the effects of environmental and economic problems are increasing.
The “Saving at Home, Future in Our Hands” social responsibility project, which has been implemented in 27 different rural areas in 16 provinces of Turkey where Akfen Renewable Energy has investments in electricity production plants, under the coordination of the Turkey Human Resources Training and Health Foundation (TİKAV), founded by Akfen Holding, has been completed.
In the “Saving at Home, Future in Our Hands” project, training was provided to 2500 women living in the areas where Akfen Renewable Energy’s energy centers are located in order to adopt saving methods within the family and to provide a lifestyle compatible with nature in today’s world where the impact of environmental and economic problems is increasing.
In the training organized within the scope of the project, the participants were informed about the intelligent and conscious use of electricity energy and water, and were made aware of the contribution to both the household economy and the ecological balance of the world. After the seminars, certificates and saving kits were also given to the participants.
4 DIFFERENT PROJECTS REACHED 6,800 WOMEN
In the “Saving at Home, Future in Our Hands” project, within the scope of the project, in Mersin, Anamur, Aydın, Karacasu and Bozdoğan, in Denizli, Acıpayam and Kale, in Muğla, Seydikemer and Ula, in Erzurum, Aziziye, in Elazığ, Merkez, in Konya, Hadim, in Kütahya, Dumlupınar, and in Bursa, Orhaneli, a total of 4 different projects were implemented and a total of 6,800 women were reached.
