The Honda Accord is one of the most recognized sedans in the world. We already knew that its new generation was almost ready, and now we finally have its world presentation with its specifications. The changes are deep, so we have a lot of material to cut.

This eleventh generation has a more conservative look than its predecessor. The 2023 Accord now features a more traditional black mesh grille flanked by LED headlights, with a curvier front bumper that helps emphasize the width of the car.
We can also see a longer hood and streamlined bodywork with a relatively subtle character line. To tell the truth, now the design seems much less Japanese and more German, perhaps relating it a bit with the extinct Volkswagen Passat, but perhaps it is the impression that a more Bauhaus style gives by cleaning up the lines so much.
2023 Accord comes standard with body-color exterior mirrors and 17-inch alloy wheels. Sport versions are distinguished by black mirrors, a black rear spoiler and 19-inch black alloy wheels, while the Sport-L adds a unique black diffuser. The top-of-the-line Touring also gets black accents and 19-inch black wheels, but with silver trim.

The biggest novelty of this eleventh generation is under the hood. Although we have the same 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder making 192 hp and 192 pound-feet Related to a CVT-type automatic transmission, Honda says the engine has been “updated with additional refinement and improved emissions performance.” The news, however, passes through the fact that that the 2.0-liter turbo engine will no longer be present.

Inside the doors, the new Accord lets us see what looks like a improvement in the quality of materials and more space for its occupants. A 10.2-inch digital gauge cluster can also be seen as standard, as is a 7.0-inch center touchscreen. On higher trim levels, that screen grows to 12.3 inches.
A physical volume knob and support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are included. The Accord Touring trim also includes Google integration, a six-inch head-up display and a 12-speaker Bose sound system. And it adds two USB-C outlets on the back in addition to the two on the front that come standard.

Like the all-new 2023 Honda Pilot recently introduced, the new Accord was designed to earn an IIHS Top Safety Pick+ award. and meet its Side Impact Crashworthiness Evaluation 2.0 standard, as well as earn a five-star crash test rating from the NHTSA.
