Famous British actor Robbie Coltone, best known for his role as Hagrid in the Harry Potter films, has died at the age of 72.
Coltrane was born on March 30, 1950 in Scotland, the son of a doctor and teacher. After graduating from Glasgow School of Art, he continued his art education at Moray House College of Education in Edinburgh.
The actor gained great popularity with the Hogwarts guard Rubeus Hagrid, whom he portrayed in the world-famous Harry Potter series.
