DMC (DeLorean Motor Company)
DeLorean Alpha5
Founded as DeLorean Motors Reimagined in 1995, DMC is the owner of the original company parts, name, trademarks and logo and sells original DMC-12 parts and refurbished cars.
After years of rumors, DMC has announced the Alpha5, a new electric vehicle that we can classify as a modern version of the original DeLoreanwhich includes the characteristic gull-wing doors and promises far superior performance to the popular “Back to the Future” car.
Fisker
Henrik Fisker designed legendary cars such as the BMW Z8 and Aston Martin V8 Vantage before founding his own car brand in 2007. The Fisker Karma, a hybrid-electric luxury car, was his first and only production model. Despite its positive reviews, it never sold well, which caused the bankruptcy of the brand and that a Chinese company bought his assets after the suspension of payments.
Now Fisker returns to developing purely electric vehicles. The Fisker Ocean SUV is expected to go on sale later this year, followed by the Fisker PEAR in 2024.
Hummer
Hummer EV
Hummer originally made civilian versions of AM General’s Humvee military vehicle, but GM sacrificed it as part of its restructuring for bankruptcy in 2009. Now, the Hummer is back as an electric vehicle for the GMC sub-brand.
