Tokyo Auto Salon, one of the largest international automotive exhibitions in the world, will be held from January 13-15 of 2023 at Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan. Subaru, one of the brands preparing for the fair, will show itself here with a new production, close to production and concept vehicle. Beyond seeing the new Impreza, we’ll be reviewing it along with STI performance parts.
Subaru will also show off the sporty station wagon with a production body we’ll see in the future, which will show itself in prototype form. Dubbed the Levorg STI Spot#, this beauty will be based on the current Levorg STI Sport R EX, as well as tweaking the suspension and handling. At this point, there is no official information about when the production version will arrive. However, we think it will only be sold in Japan.
In addition to the Levorg, a Crosstrek Boost Gear Concept will also make its debut. Backstage, Subaru will preview available upgrade parts and components for the small crossover in Japan in the future. Introduced just recently, the Subaru Rex will also receive various upgrades that will be shown off with a concept vehicle. A footnote before we forget: The model is only sold in Japan as a rebranded version of the Toyota Raize.
