If supercars go hybrid, why not turn a hybrid into a sports car? It was probably what the guys from X-Tomi Design planned when sketching a new Toyota Prius hypothetically “touched” by Gazoo Racing, all from the fact that the new hybrid has the 2.0-liter Dynamic Force engine that, according to the market, will be offered with 193 Hp front-wheel drive or 220 Hp with all-wheel drive (which we will never see).
In X-Tomi Design they decided that if Gazoo Racing got their hands on the new Toyota Prius, more or less it could look like this:
- Lower, firmer suspension
- Sportier electric steering
- Aerodynamic kit
- Forged sport wheels
- Brakes with larger calipers
- Sport seats.

To finish “blowing the fence off,” the designers envision a turbocharged G16E-GTS 1.6-liter three-cylinder engine.with direct injection that, coupled to the electrical part, could generate up to 350 Hp, something that is easy to write or read, especially considering the implications that it would have make the CVT hold or failing that, another type of transmission can be placed.
For tuning there is nothing impossible, but in the meantime, it is time to believe in Santa Claus.
