Anonima Lombarda Fabbrica Automobili (A.L.F.A.)’s story began in Milan on June 24, 1910. The first car designed by Giuseppe Merosi was powered by a 24 HP engine. Five years later, Nicola Romeo bought the company and changed the name to Alfa Romeo.
