Today we want to keep in touch with the world, to receive information or to give it. And the Mazda CX-60 complies perfectly.
It is no longer news that a new car has wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, in this case integrated into Mazda Connect. The Mazda CX-60 also offers the MyMazda application to access some functions from the mobile and, in some finishes, the BOSE sound system with 12 speakers. And all this following the maxims of the brand in terms of the connection between driver and vehicle, the concept Jinba Ittai.
Mazda Connect with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto
The Mazda CX-60 includes the latest version of Mazda Connect. We were able to see its improvements compared to previous launches of the brand in the international presentation: it starts up much faster and the screen has a higher resolution. It has a built-in 3D gyro sensor and a word search function to find destinations by entering keywords.
The system is compatible with both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto (both wireless, the second novelty in Mazda) so you don’t have problems with the integration of the mobile. MyMazda App
Available throughout Europe, the app My Mazda It is a free app available on Apple Store and Google Play Store. The idea is that the user has more information about his vehicle everywhere, eliminating barriers. Among the services it offers are:

Using the MyMazda app is so easy. After downloading it, it asks for a registration and you have to add the car by registering to the connected services. A main conductor may be registered together with a secondary one. The first driver can select the functions that are available to the second.
Sound equipment
One of the less talked about Mazda 3 developments is the system Mazda Harmonic Acoustics, developed for the model and with which its acoustics stand out from the competition. In the Mazda CX-60 it has been improved, with larger speakers integrated into the sides of the passenger compartment and below the windshield (from 3 to 4.8 liters), thanks to the fact that part of the frame has been used to house them.
This additional space has been generated by advancing the front wheel arches, which help improve ergonomics in the driving position… in addition to having a greater dynamic range of bass and better sound quality. Under the passenger seat is the amplifier, made after six years of development.
To make digital sources sound better, with lower quality that allows for more storage, Mazda relies on the MSR NR technology (Master Sound Revive Noise Reduction), which removes background noise from digital sources. A second cone is also added to the speakers under the center cap to extend the high band of the midrange frequencies and improve the sonic blend with the tweeters.
Bose premium audio system
For the most music lovers, there is a 12-speaker Bose sound system, one of the most complete on the market. carry the BassMatch technology from Bose, with deeper low-frequency sounds for all passengers. The amplifier features nine channels of custom EQ and digital signal processing, as well as Bose Centerpoint 2 surround sound technologies, SurroundStage processing, and AudioPilot 2 noise compensation.
It includes twelve high-performance speakers distributed throughout the interior of the vehicle. The bass speakers have been located on the sides of the passenger compartment, under the windshield to emit more powerful bass.
