Lucid is a brand specialized in premium electric vehicles that has already managed to make a name for itself in the industry with its Air model., which knows how to combine luxury and elegance with a lot of power. Now the company hopes to repeat the formula with the Gravity, an SUV which has just been revealed and of which we have some details.
To get started, Lucid lead designer Derek Jenkins promised that the Gravity “will be by far the most aerodynamic SUV ever.” This promise is leveraged by the fact that the other model mentioned, the Air, has a Cx of just 0.197. Like to take very seriously.
The Gravity SUV will feature a compact electric motor package, which allows for better packaging and more interior space. No performance details were given, but the folks at Lucid say that, like Air, the Gravity will have a lot of autonomy and also power.

At the back, we also have a light bar similar to the one on the Air, and we can see a resemblance to the shape of the C-pillar.
speaking of proportions, its front overhang is extremely short, giving the vehicle almost the appearance of a minivan. We also have a spoiler that protrudes above the rear windowand that surely is responsible for a large part of the aforementioned aerodynamic capacity.
One of the most outstanding elements is its huge panoramic roof, which is shaping up to be one of the largest in the market. Under it, the Gravity will have three seating configurations where can accommodate up to seven peopleand a fairly generous cargo space.
Lucid Gravity, launch and price
Gravity reservations are scheduled to open in early 2023while it is expected that deliveries begin in 2024. If we consider that the Air sedan is worth about USD 250,000 in the US, surely this luxury electric SUV is located in a similar or higher price range.
