ANDIt is one of the products that has generated the most expectations in recent months and after its presentation in Brazil towards the end of last year and the incorporation of its savings plan offer, Fiat finally presented the full range of the Pulse in Argentina at an event held in Telefe studios.
Unlike the neighboring country, here the B-SUV comes in three versions but with only two equipment levels (Drive and Impetus, while in Brazil the intermediate option Audace is added) but with a very complete list of comfort, technology and safety. , which includes driving assistance in the top-of-the-range variant. Likewise, it also represents the debut of the new Firefly 1.0 turbo engine.

It is the expected B-SUV of the Italian brand that was presented at the end of last year in Brazil and that was recently launched in our country only for a savings plan. It is now available with its full range of three versions and two engines.
Developed on the MLA platform – an evolution of the one used by the Argo/Cronos, with more structural reinforcements and technology that allow it to have more safety elements and driving assistance, aesthetically its family resemblance to the hatchback is undeniable, but It also has its own characteristics that manage to differentiate it. First of all, the frontal sector was completely reworked. It has larger headlights, with a more horizontal format and Led lighting, both for the main lights and for daytime running lights. The grille is also larger than on the hatchback and is characterized by its three horizontal bars, the brand’s new logo in the center and the Fiat Flag in the left corner. The bumper stands out for the air intakes at the ends – which serve at the same time as a frame for the fog lights – and the trapezoidal one in the center.
In profile is where the family resemblance with the Argo is most noticeable, since it shares the doors and the A-pillar with it. To give it a more personal touch, add the black painted roof in contrast to the bodywork, a widely used resource by other competitors. Nor are the roof bars missing and some showy alloy wheels with a diamond finish, as well as the suspensions with greater clearance.
Lastly, the rear part is, like the front sector, one of the parts with the greatest personality: it has a tailgate with more marked strokes and shapes than in the hatchback, along with headlights with a more three-dimensional appearance. The tailgate is topped by a prominent spoiler that continues the line and color of the roof.
Behind closed doors, the Italian brand decided to prioritize the Pulse with a completely different board and with new elements that will gradually be introduced in the rest of the range. The entire front is of its own design, starting with the screen of the multimedia system and the trapezoidal air vents that are located below. Also new are the air conditioning commands, which maintain physical knobs and buttons, more intuitive than other systems that use only touch surfaces. Depending on the version, you can have digital instruments and a multimedia system with a touch screen of up to 10.1”. The steering wheel is also newly designed, especially in the center and with the flat base, which, in addition to having multifunction commands, adds a red button for the Sport function (from the Drive CVT version).

4,099 mm long, 1,774 mm wide (1,989 mm with mirrors), 1,547 mm high and 2,532 mm wheelbase. The trunk capacity is 370 liters and the fuel tank capacity is 47 liters.

In this case, it delivers 120 hp at 5,750 rpm and 20.4 kgm of torque at 1,750 rpm and is coupled only to the CVT automatic transmission with 7 simulated gears. The entire range has front-wheel drive and the TC+ function (Traction Control Plus, which simulates a limited-slip differential like on the Strada).
