The Pininfarina Battista, the Italian electric supercar, has broken acceleration and braking records for a production car.
The Pininfarina Battista electric-powered hypercar has recently broken the official acceleration and braking records of a production car, regardless of its mechanics, on its debut at the Dubai Autodrome in the United Arab Emirates.
According to the Italian luxury vehicle manufacturer, the model’s exclusive “launch control” system helps the Battista to accelerate faster than Formula 1 cars and to become the fastest production car to reach those coveted speeds. Thus, the Pininfarina car is capable of going from a standstill to 96.5 km/h in 1.79 seconds (beating the previous time of 1.85 seconds for the Rimac Nevera), from 0 to 100 km/h in 1, 86 seconds, from 0 to 193 km/h in 4.49 seconds and from 0 to 200 km/h in 4.75 seconds.

A car with such high performance requires a powerful braking system, and official tests have shown that the Battista is the most efficient electric vehicle in the world when it comes to braking: is capable of stopping from 100 km/h in less than 31 meters.

With 1,900 HP of power and 2,340 Nm of maximum torque, the 100% electric Battista is the most powerful Italian car ever produced in history. The super GT costs from €2.2 million, excluding local taxes, and has a top speed of 350 km/h and a range according to the WLTP cycle of up to 476 km.
Only 150 units of the Battista will be manufactured, and each one of them has required more than 1,250 hours of work by experts in Cambiano, Italy. The new super GT promises new levels of personalization with a total of 128 million unique interior configurations. In addition to the possibilities of custom-accented exterior colors, unique aluminum exterior jewels and alloy wheel designs, customers can select from nearly endless levels of interior trim and color schemes.
