Now the Formula 1 has published a new list, but this time the pilots themselves have voted. And they have agreed with the bosses. Alonso is still higher and Ocon still does not appear. Voting is anonymous and pilots can vote for themselves.
The Asturian came out sixth in this vote, ahead of Carlos Sainz, Alex Albon, Sebastian Vettel and Sergio Pérez, these last three tied. It is striking that Sainz and ‘Checo’ are so far behind despite driving the best cars on the grid.
