pin lock

Your helmet for rainy days must have, at least, anti-fog mirrors or apply an anti-condensation product —There are aerosols like that—, but your thing is that you use a Pinlock, which is the best guarantee so that the helmet screen does not fog up with the contrast of the hot air that comes out of your body when you breathe and the cold air from outside. The Pinlock, in case you don’t know what it is, is a lens that is fixed inside the screen. This way you will not have to wear the helmet visor ajar and it will not be inevitable to wear a nose guard, another accessory that can help you on rainy and cold days.
Waterproof jacket

In addition to being resistant to abrasion and withstanding the cold well, the autumn winter motorcycle jacket must be, above all, waterproof. If possible, it is recommended that you include reflective colors in your design, so that you avoid having to buy reflective braces separately to be more visible to other drivers. Take a good look at details of the jacket such as the pockets, that its interior is also waterproofand that they adjust the cuffs with a sailboat or similar so that you can seal this area well and thus prevent water from leaking.

If the outer garments that you wear on rainy days when traveling by motorcycle are dark, it is highly recommended that you get some reflective braces or a similar product —it can be a vest, but if it rains it will get soaked— to be more visible on the asphalt.
Gloves

It’s fundamental that they are waterproof and it is recommended that they have an inner lining to further insulate your hands from moisture since this is an area of the body that is especially sensitive to cold and essential for riding a motorcycle. There are some designs that incorporate a kind of visor wiper: there are people who ride motorcycles who find it useful to clean the helmet visor and others who don’t see it as necessary. It is a matter of taste.
Overtrousers or canvas

If it rains, the water takes advantage of every loophole it detects to sneak in, so don’t forget to cover your legs and feet as well. There are waterproof motorcycle pants but many times we cannot travel with technical clothing because, for example, we use the motorcycle to go to the office. In these cases, there are several options to travel on the motorcycle on rainy days and cover your legs: Some people prefer tarpaulins, especially if they move around town and on short journeys, and other drivers opt for waterproof overtrousers that they take off when they arrive at their destination. The latter does not have to be specifically for motorcycles, although it is recommended. There are, for example, designed for the mountains that can save you the ballot.
Footwear

It is not easy to find the perfect footwear if you are riding a motorcycle on rainy days and you have to go to a specific place, without being able to wear your usual technical clothing for your weekend motorcycle routes. That said, there are specific footwear on the market, especially boots, for motorcycles with an urban air that are impervious to rain and insulates you from abrasionsomething essential in an area of the body that quickly comes into contact with the asphalt in the event of an accident.
