Peugeot chose the CES 2023 electronics fair (where we will be present) to show the Inception Concept, a model that we met at the Paris Salon, although to everyone’s surprise, it was just an announcement and nothing more: not a model, not a render, nothing at all.
From the Inception Concept it is known that will be the kick of Peuegot in the generation of new 100% electric models, but born as such from the beginning, what the French call “e-Native”.
In Paris, Linda Jackson, CEO of Peugeot stated:
“We are going to continue to rapidly electrify our entire range and we will launch no less than five 100% electric models in the next two years. This means that by 2025, Peugeot will have a 100% electric offer in all its models. At the same time, we are preparing the launches of the next generation of Peugeot e-Native models, based on new platforms designed for 100% electric vehicles. This is what the Peugeot Inception Concept will demonstrate, which we will unveil in the coming weeks. Its name says it all, the Peugeot Inception Concept will inaugurate the new 100% electric era of Peugeot with a promise: by 2030, 100% of Peugeots sold in Europe will be 100% electric”.
The brand has decided to show some images for CES, including a video of just a few secondswhere we can see some elements of the model, plus an invitation to CES.
Regarding the design, there are several things that can be seen between the photos. The first thing is the mask, with the illuminated Peugeot shield placed on a “blind” grill where we see a matrix of lights and three LED strips that cross it, something that quickly reminds us of very classic models of the French brand, such as the 404: it is the clearest image of the model.

The rest are abstract photos that hint at the rear lights, of course with Peugeot’s three “claws”, with LED technology and also with a 3D effect. We can see the model nomenclature in a soft relief on what should be the hood or trunk of the car, plus a weird image with a white circle that could be anything from a section of the car’s interior interface or an exterior trim. Well, that’s how teasers are, they want us to imagine things.
December goes by fast, so after the new year, we get into CES mode and we can find out what it’s all about.
