Mario Andretti has a plan to reach Formula 1 in 2024. “We have been working to potentially buy some equipment present,” she assured in ‘SoyMotor’. One option was AlphaTauribut Red Bull has assured that they are not interested in selling their subsidiary.
In fact, it has been his own Andretti the one who said this to the ‘IndyStar’ medium: “no they are not interested. But we are working every day. I still have confidence. We are getting closer. We don’t have the ‘OK’ yet, but we are getting very close.”
There is also the possibility of creating a new team from scratch and entering the grid as the eleventh team: “At the moment those possibilities do not seem too clear, so We keep trying to be the eleventh teameither. You’ll see we have a good plan.”
Fernando Alonso in Andretti?

His experience is incalculable and it would be a tremendous thing for us, so let’s see it. I think he wants to keep competing and he’s still in his prime.”
