New Verstappen on the way? The “little prost” that Red Bull already sees in its academy

Two World Cups with only 25 years old already add Max Verstappen. The Red Bull Dutchman, who seems to be in the right place at the right time, could beat all possible Formula 1 records in case no one can be able to beat an Austrian team that in this 2022 has touched the honors.

All in all, despite Verstappen’s youth, at Red Bull they continue to more than pending to his academy. To one that has given them so much joy and that has already left champions like Max himself and Sebastian Vettel in Formula 1.

And that he could soon have another of its members in the Great Circus. To one in which Helmut Marko, adviser to the team, sees a great future if he is right in the emphatic affirmation that he says about him.

“I have high hopes for Isack Hadjar. We can call him as the ‘little Prost’, points out in relation to the young Frenchman in ‘Auto Motor und Sport’.

So far, in his debut in F3, he has managed to finish fourth after a season in which he has won three wins and five podiums.

But Marko remembers what has happened with Juri Vips and Liam Lawson: “The key is to be on top. Lawson has not been able to do it. Vips said the wrong word, And that’s where it all ended for him.”

And he adds: “We do not see a future Verstappen on the rise. As we did not see prepared talents, we have looked outside and for That’s why we signed Nyck de Vries. We need two drivers capable of winning races, and now we don’t have it.”
