Chevrolet Chevelle SS – 1970

The largest and most powerful V8 engine Chevrolet has ever produced: 454. Moreover, with a volume of 7.4 liters, 450 horsepower and 678 Nm of torque, it was this engine that made the Chevelle SS the most powerful and largest car of its time. Behind the 454 was Chrysler’s 440-6 Six-Pack. And even the Ford 429 cid was absolutely out of the question. GM’s other brands, Buick and Oldsmobile, are just a marketing tactic with 455 cid. but they were actually traveling on the roads with the same engine (only 360 hp).
