The exhibition will review the history of Madrid mobility, showing everything from the 600, the Fiat 500 and the Citroën DS/ID Tiburón to the electric Nissan or the autonomous delivery car.
On the occasion of its tenth anniversary, the Madrid Association of Automobile Dealers (AMDA) has organized an exhibition that makes a automotive history review from the typical motor vehicles of the sixties to the latest generation cars powered by hydrogen that are beginning to form part of the streets of the capital. The objective is to value the Past, present and future of Madrid dealershipsunderstanding dealerships as an active part of the city’s mobility “that has worked to share, not only innovation or safety, but also its desire to actively participate in society,” AMDA emphasizes.
‘History of automobile distribution in Madrid’ also dedicates a space to the Mobility in the Civil Guard and the Municipal Police, with an area covered with two cars and traditional motorcycles as a symbol of the evolution and adaptation of security forces to the times and needs of each moment. Visitors will have the opportunity to see up close some of the breathalyzers and radars that have ensured the security of the Community in recent years.
Electric mobility is beginning to be present in society. For this reason, the Madrid association will show what a car is like on the inside through an electric Nissan or a Porsche bicycle. From AMDA they consider that the future is the closest present, so as a climax the exhibition will have a hydrogen model and an autonomous delivery car.
Throughout the route, showcases have been placed that display a wide variety of magazines, catalogs for the use of the most traditional and striking cars, miniatures, old images of Madrid, traffic campaigns and mannequins of urban guards.
The exhibition will be open from November 15 to 20 in the greenhouse of the Palacio de Cristal de Arganzuela with Free entry, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
