He pays about €8,000 in parking tickets, but considers it a “VIP parking”: he meets the controversial TikTok user everyone is talking about.
Luke Desmaris is a young British man who has become popular on social media because of his controversy with parking and his statements in which he boasts that the fines he receives for parking his cars illegally are for him like paying for VIP parking.
Demaris posted a video in which he said he didn’t care about parking tickets. The 27-year-old apparently received at least a hundred fines so far this yearwhich involved an outlay of just over 8,000 euros.
“I’m not doing anything wrong,” he declares.
In addition, he stressed that this will never be a problem for him, because he earns around 115,000 euros a month. He is aware that parking in London is a nightmare, so as he says, he doesn’t want to think and drive himself unconscious. In addition to justifying his actions by saying that “makes sure not to block anyone or do anything wrong”Lucas has now given another explanation that has made him one of the most hated characters on social networks.
Demaris has claimed that “those who don’t have money see it as a parking ticket, while he sees it as a VIP parking space”and that he would rather save time and illegally park his BMW M4 than spend hours looking for parking.

“If I can save time like this, I will. This means I can go home and get back to work faster.. That’s my logic,” Demaris explained, “I’m not doing anything wrong, apart from the fact that the rules state that you can’t park in areas with a yellow line.”
His “wanderings” have generated great controversy among TikTok users, the social network where Demeris mostly publishes. Some support them, calculating whether it is better to receive the fine or pay for parking, while others argue that penalties should be proportional to income: “The fines should be proportional to what is earned or per car. £30 for a Ford, £3,000 for a Ferrari.”
