Netflix shows how ‘Kaleidoscope’ was made, the series about robberies by Eric García and Ridley Scott that will arrive in January

The robberies continue on Netflix with the new series ‘Kaleidoscope’ that will arrive in january. The Eric García and Ridley Scott project gives a new twist to episodic fiction, since the viewing is not linear and depending on the order that each person follows, the experience changes and the perception of history is different.

The platform has published the first images of the series in which we can see the protagonists Giancarlo Esposito, Rufus Sewell, Paz Vega and Tati Gabrielle. In addition, the creators explain the characteristics of the series and its innovative format. The cast is completed by Peter Mark Kendall, Rosaline Elbay, Jai Courtney, Niousha Noor, Jordan Mendoza, Soojeong Son, and Hemky Madera.

‘Kaleidoscope’ is loosely inspired by the real-life case of the 2017 robbery of $70 billion in midtown Manhattan (New York) as Hurricane Sandy ravaged the city. Its eight episodes span from 24 years before the heist to six months after and follow a group of master thieves who try to open a maximum security safe to get the biggest loot in history.

The series is a puzzle of corruption, greed, revenge, intrigue, loyalty and betrayal that offers audiences a unique and different immersive experience for each person. The episodes are not numbered, but have colored names and depending on the order that is followed, the perspective on the story, the characters and the questions and answers will be different.
