On the subject, Tesla states that a total of 24,064 Model 3s, which were recalled, experienced this situation due to a service problem rather than production. “Maintenance of certain components on the Model 3 requires removal of the second row left seat belt buckle and center seat belt anchor, both of which are secured with the same bolt. “Both components may have been incorrectly reassembled after being removed during service.”
