“It’s the summary of the year”: sad, disappointed and frustrated he showed himself Fernando Alonso at the end of Abu Dhabi Grand Prixhis last race with Alpine prior to fly to the aston martin garage.
The Asturian dreamed of saying goodbye in the best way possible to the team that gave him two crowns Formula 1but as has been the usual trend this year, reliability weighed down his ambitions.
A water leak in the engine forced him to abandon halfway through the race and, upon his arrival at the box, the cameras captured Alonso with the soaked eyes.
It could be sweat, it could be tears, but what was clear was his disappointment after another team failure, the sixth dropout it’s from the season.
