Bugatti is 100 units away from finishing production of the Chiron

At the beginning of the year we told you about the successful sales performance Bugatti was having, that of course included the Chiron, model whose production was set to stop when it reached 500 units, as announced by the French firm back in 2016. Years passed and sales continued until today, Bugatti has announced that the production of the hypercar is at 80% or in other words: it only remains to build 100 more Chirons.

In the meantime, in Molsheim they had fun with the unit number 400 that corresponds to a Chiron Super Sport with a W16 engine manufactured by 20 collaborators who, in total, assembled the 1,800 components that make up this vehicle.

Christophe Piochon, president of Bugatti, describes that both the car and each of its parts are a work of engineering that require the attention of the best specialists and engineers, as is the case of those in charge of painting:

“Our painting or finishing process is so detailed that up to eight coats on the top coat alone are required to achieve the desired effect, each polished to a perfect, deep, lustrous mirror finish.”Piochon stated.

The color chosen for the Bugatti Chiron No. 400 is a green tone called “Fierce”, while the wheels are Super Sport Magnesium model; even the engine cover was also worked in a shade of paint called Nocturne.

The cabin could not be less Bugatti, and that means luxury with supreme finishes. There, green and black tones predominate with upholstery finishes called Beluga Black. It also sports carbon fiber stitching on the steering wheel and a Sky View glass roof. which provides a lot of natural light.

The best thing about the Bugatti Chiron Super Sport is that it has the well-known 8.0-liter quad-turbocharged W16 engine.
