MMoment of renewal for the MINI range in Argentina: after the arrival of the Countryman, now it was the turn of the facelift of the 3 and 5-door hatchback versions, which received a subtle aesthetic update, but incorporating more technology –especially in safety with the addition of several driving assistance systems – and maintaining the engines already known.
Another novelty is that the portfolio was rethought, with new names for the versions and a somewhat more limited range since it lost the Cabrio option, among others.

The new:
In a facelift of the fourth generation of the MINI hatchback. As in each update, the aesthetic changes are really subtle and are especially concentrated in the front sector: the headlights are now 100% Led and thanks to their greater light output and range, the fog lights have been eliminated. This meant that the bumper has also been modified: the grille has a frame that joins the lower gloss black air intake, while at the ends, where the auxiliary headlights were previously housed, it has a small air channel. . Thus, its appearance looks somewhat simpler and more sober, without losing the MINI identity.
In profile, the novelty is the alloy wheels, with a wide variety of designs and sizes, so that each customer can personalize their unit to their liking. Finally, at the rear, the bumper has a larger black appliqué and the headlights, which replicate the British Union Jack inside, have a darkened mask.
Doors inside, goodbye to the classic analog clocks: they were replaced by a 5” display for the instruments and an 8.8” touch screen for the Connected Navi multimedia system, which incorporates Apple CarPlay as standard. The Head-Up Display and the addition of several driving assistance systems are also highlighted. Finally, the design of the steering wheel and the central air outlets, more rounded, were slightly modified. In our country, the mechanics offered in the previous series are maintained.

The version John Cooper Works it adds 19” JCW Circuit Spoke two-tone alloy wheels with Run Flat tires, lines on the JCW hood, anti-glare interior rearview mirror, JCW sports seats, adaptive chassis and Harman Kardon HiFi audio system with 12 speakers and 360 Watts of power.
