On December 30 it will be available at Netflix the new series from creators Alberto and Laura Caballero, ‘Machos Alfa’. They are behind series like ‘Aquí no hay quien viva’, ‘El pueblo’ or ‘La que se avecina’ and they have launched with fiction that aims to reflect how men live in the age of equality.
There are more and more series that have feminism as a backdrop and this series shows how men are located in a society in which the abolition of patriarchy is closer. In the midst of a masculinity crisis, the series follows four friends in their forties who are losing their throne, their privileges and their identity. Those who were once alpha males in control of their relationships, their work and their lives have to adapt to changing times. The four come face to face with new rules that reveal their pathos.
The series stars Fernando Gil (‘Two years and one day’), María Hervas (‘La que se avecina’), Raul Badger (‘Soul’), Kira Miro (‘Serve and protect’), Gorka Otxoa (‘A Private Matter’), Paula Gallego (‘Tell me’), fele martinez (‘Thesis’), Rachel Guerrero (‘Kings of the night’) and Virginia Rodriguez (‘This is not a date.’)
