A spectacular collection of BMW models has been sold at auction for an amount that has reached 3.2 million euros.
Just a few days ago, RM Sotheby’s has managed an auction in which an incredible collection of BMW cars has been sold for a cumulative amount of 3.24 million euroshighlighting a BMW 507 Roadster, whose value has touched the 2 million euros.
The auction, which took place in Munich (Germany), had a catalog of cars that would make any car fan salivate: from a BMW M1 to an E36 BMW M3 Evolution going through the aforementioned 507 Roadster until totaling 10 iconic copies of the German brand in a spectacular state of conservation.

It was precisely a 1958 BMW 507 Roadster which commanded the highest selling price. Its buyer has had to pay 1,917,500 euros, although high, it is not the most expensive we have seen, as there are other copies that have sold for more than 2 million euros.
After this, a 1980 BMW M1 was auctioned for 792,500 euros. With 24,000 kilometers on its odometer, this is an especially significant version of BMW’s only supercar, having been owned by former BMW Motorsport boss Jochen Neerpasch.
In fact, Neerpasch himself pointed out that selling this car to the auction house “It was one of my mistakes in life”. Seeing the price for which it has been auctioned will surely cause you to regret it a little more.
The “podium” is completed by a E9 3.0 CSL, which was sold for 578,750 euros, which was released shortly after BMW revealed the modern interpretation of the “Batmobile” based on the M4. It is the last of 57 “second series” models built by BMW.
