Fernando Alonso and Sebastian Vettel many messages have been sent praising each other. Especially in recent times since the German announced his departure from Formula 1 and it was known that his replacement would be Alonso. However, they have surprised some statements detailing the “little chemistry” they have both.
Vettel has made them in the official F1 podcast, in which he has spoken that they barely know each other off the track: “As a person, however, do not know him for real. I wouldn’t say we don’t get along, I think we respect each other, but I don’t think we’ve ever really met.”
“As a person, probably we don’t have the best of relationships Because we just don’t know each other that well. Maybe we didn’t have that moment like I’ve had with Lewis, who brought us together, maybe we’re just too different,” says the four-time champion with Red Bull.
The relationship far from F1 never existed: “We have the racing as a common passion, but in all these years it never happened that we met. It’s probably like at school or at work, you have a colleague you respect, but you don’t really know.”
