Electric car manufacturer Tesla is trying to increase its production capacity with the steps it has taken recently. Especially the price increases in fuel prices around the world have caused many people to turn to electric cars. This situation enabled the company’s orders to increase like its competitors. According to the latest posts, the manufacturer has started to supply machines for Cybertruck production.
According to Twitter user @greggertruck, 66 robots made by the German company Kuka, which will be used for Cybertruck production, were delivered to Tesla’s Gigafactory in Austin, Texas, from Europe on December 18. Currently, Kuka robots are used in various factories during the production of all models of the company.
Although 66 robots are delivered, not all machines are ready for Cybertruck production. Tesla took delivery of the massive 9,000-ton Giga Press from IDRA Group in early December, and now other shipments are slowly coming in to replenish inventory.
With these steps, we expect the production of the vehicle to start with small numbers in the middle of 2023 and to be produced normally towards the end of 2023. Although Cybertruck was introduced in 2019, the final version of the vehicle is not yet clear. There are also many claims on both the technical side and the prices. In this context, we expect the details to be announced along with the production.
