According to the media, Elon Musk would only be “adjusting the last details to announce the installation of a factory in the state, which should be made public in early 2023.”
This same report states that “The sources say that the land for the factory has already been acquired and there is a commitment to finalize the investment at the beginning of January”.
It should be remembered at the beginning of this month, the governor of Nuevo León, Samuel García, pointed out that, despite the confidentiality contracts, “Historic investments were about to arrive and they would be one of the largest in the country’s records”. By the way, the regent already visited the Gigafactory in Austin, Texas, in May.
In this tenor, Musk had already indicated that he would make a major investment in early 2023., but did not indicate which or where it would be done. Therefore, the expectations that they will finally settle in Nuevo León are very high.
