KIA has announced the details of the new Stinger Tribute Edition, which will say goodbye to this sports sedan that is nearing its end of production. It should be remembered that its international debut took place in 2017 and since then it has become the South Korean firm’s highest performing car.
The Stinger Tribute Edition It is distinguished by Ascot Green, but you can also opt for a new matte Moonscape gray color. On the other hand, gloss black finishes for the mirror caps, Brembo brake calipers and 19-inch wheels give it a more elegant character.
Inside doors, there is also news, since this edition has exclusive elements such as terracotta brown leather present in the sports seats, steering wheel, door side trim and door handles. In addition, the designers have applied a carbon-effect finish to the upper console cover and door panels to complement the upholstery.
A recently introduced wasp-shaped emblem is embedded in the headrest of the seats. This subtle decoration evokes the name of the model at the same time. The application of a numbered plaque to the driver’s side door jamb authenticates that only 1,000 units will be made worldwide.
Based on the 3.3-litre twin-turbo GT V6 variant, this KIA Stinger Tribute Edition maintains the 368 hp and 376 lb-ft of torque unchanged, as well as the 8- speed automatic transmission, the adaptive suspension and the limited-slip differential. All this allows you to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.9 seconds.
Unfortunately, this KIA Stinger special edition will not be available for the Mexican market. Still, it’s a great car and if you have a chance to get one before it’s gone don’t hesitate for a moment.
