Jorge Lorenzo knows what he’s talking about when it comes to MotoGP.
He knows it for all the years he has been driving in said competition, and also of course because he is world champion. The Spaniard, a rider for brands such as Yamaha, Ducati and Honda, has spoken to say that, because of him, the motorcycles should be put in order a little.
“You have 10 riders in four tenths. I don’t think that can be possible with different motorcycles”, account in ‘DAZN’.
And he continues, focusing on speed: “If the motorcycles already reach 365 kilometers per hour… You have to consider whether to leave freedom so that get to 400. Or less turn, or less displacement”.
In this sense, he gives the reason for making such a statement: “It’s for security reasons.”
Lorenzo reveals that in 2009 he was also in talks with Ducati: “I was close, I was also close to signing for Sling although Stoner’s health made me closer to Ducati”.
“But I did well. The following year I started winning with Yamaha… but then, having won at Mugello, going two weeks earlier, maybe I would have won something with Ducati. Maybe I’d still be competing,” judgment.
