Bertone is a legendary name among supercar lovers. The designer and coachbuilder was the one who shaped several vehicles that adorned rooms from the posters and aroused sighs, such as the Lamborghini Miura, the Countach or the Lancia Stratos.
Now, celebrating the company’s 110th anniversary, Bertone introduced the GB110, a mid-engined two-seater that pays tribute to one of the most fruitful trajectories in automotive history.
The Bertone GB110 features butterfly doors, all-wheel drive and seven- speed transmission. Bertone says that the combustion engine is designed to run on synthetic fuels made from plastic wastebeing capable of developing 1,085 HP and 811 lb-ft of torquewith the red part of the tachometer at 8,400 rpm.
These figures would allow you to make the 0 to 100 km/h in 2.79 seconds, 0 to 200 km/h in 6.79 seconds and 0 to 300 km/h in 14 seconds. This acceleration ends up resulting in a top speed of 380 km/hcrazy.

Unfortunately, Bertone did not detail what type of engine it is, the number of cylinders it has, or even what vehicle they took as the basis for developing this supercar, although we do know that it took its inspiration more than anything from the 1968 Alfa Romeo Carabo. What they did confirm is that it is based “on components from a German manufacturer” and that 33 units will be manufactured, although it was not specified at what price.
Other technical aspects that were published are the wheelbase of 2,630 mm and that its chassis is equipped with double wishbone suspension, coil springs and four-way damping adjustment. The front wheels are 21 inches while the rear ones are 22 inches. and have mounted tires in measures 335/25.

Bertone had gone bankrupt in 2014 but recently it was revived, and apparently it wants to make a place for itself in a very exclusive market, which values the story behind the product.
About, Giovanni Sapio, Project and Design Manager at Bertoneaffirms that Despite its German origins, the GB110 is, at heart, an Italian car: “It has Italian class and style, and is built to excite its owner and ignite the passion of sports car fans. But at the same time, it is designed for everyday use. It is practical, comfortable and easy to handle, without exasperating its sportiness”.
as we mentionedthe price of the exclusive Bertone GB110 is not yet known, only that the company promised to manufacture 33 units.
