In a relatively short period of time we have seen Ford’s Raptor family grow significantly, represented for many years solely by the Lobo Raptor. The design, the technology, as well as the enthusiasm of Ford’s design and marketing departments did their part so that today we can enjoy Ford F-150 Raptor, Ranger Raptor and the newcomer Bronco Raptor. And if they are pure icon models, why not make a Ford Mustang Raptor? Well, maybe it hasn’t occurred to them yet, it hasn’t been authorized yet, or it’s simply not viable.
Only Ford knows that, meanwhile, in the world of mortals, Oscar Vargas, a talented designer, raises his hand with his proposal in case the blue oval needs ideas. Oscar has taken the most characteristic shapes of the Pony Car to give them an appearance that is very much in tune with what the “Raptors” propose, in addition to creating a bodywork concept focused 100% on the ground, from the fenders, suspension adjustment, to the all-terrain tires.

The designer who appears on Instagram as @wb.artist20 has collaborated with other of his colleagues contributing ideas and working so that from the new architecture of the Ford Mustang, the lines of the hypothetical Raptor version emerge; This is his proposal:
- Suspension focused on off road (it looks very high)
- Special wheels and tires for all terrain
- Wide body that could obey a wider track gauge
- Finish and paint design with matt black on the awning and oversized chest.
- Redesigned spoiler
- Quad exhaust outlet
- Raptor logo on trunk.

hypothetically, this Ford Mustang Raptor could have many “tricks” in the V8 and transmission, in fact, I even like it, but everything will remain in the imagination, since it is really unlikely that we will see such a version in real life, although one never knows; if Porsche has its 911 Dakar and Lamborghini its Sterrato… it’s worth dreaming.
