There has been a noticeable change in the Audi range. The Audi Q8 e-tron was born to leave behind the large electric SUV that until now was known simply as e-tron and a second body arrived. This is the Audi Q8 e-tron Sportback, a model that opts for a more dynamic aesthetic thanks to the coupé shapes, a resource that the brand with the four rings is regularly using. And you couldn’t miss a top-of-the-range version like the Audi SQ8 e-tron Sportback to position himself as a true high-flying electrician.
Because the main difference with respect to the rest of the versions is none other than its electric propulsion system that reaches the 503 hp and 973 Nm of torque. This figure is the joint that is reached by adding three engines: one for the front axle (124 kW) and two that are housed in the rear axle (98 kW each). In this way, it achieves outstanding performance with an acceleration of 0 to 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds (in Boost mode) and has a top speed of 210 km/h. Although it is also interesting for its efficiency.

Because the Audi SQ8 e-tron Sportback is equipped with a 114 kWh lithium-ion battery (106 kWh net), same capacity as the Q8 Sportback 55 e-tron. With this, it is possible to certify a autonomy of 450 kilometers, although it could reach up to 513 kilometers in urban environments with range mode. Another quality that this model has is that it accepts fast charges of up to 170 kW, while the normal one stayed at 150 kW. In this way it would reach 10 to 80% of the charge in 31 minutes. In alternating current you can charge at 11 kW as standard or 22 kW with the optional cable.
We already saw that the measurements of the Q8 e-tron Sportback were considerable, but in its sports version there are slight changes. we see that it is 39mm wider and 2mm lower to promote performance. And that the aerodynamics of the vehicle had already been worked considerably and remains in this version at 0.27 Cx. Another striking fact about this electric SUV is its empty weight of 2,650 kgconfirming that it is a mastodon and that it will achieve benefits, but not really sporty behavior.

Other details specific to the sports version are the 20 to 22-inch wheels, a more elaborate rear diffuser or the brake calipers in black (which bite into 400mm discs at the front and 350mm at the rear). Inside there are not so many differences and it can be generously configured like the other versions. By default it already has a really complete equipment and elements such as the front sports seats plus or the decorative inserts in dark matt brushed aluminum can be added. In this case, the habitability and the trunk of 528 liters (plus 62 liters of the frunk) are maintained.
