Gazoo Racing unveiled the Toyota Supra GT4 Evoprecisely an evolution of its model that receives some updates using the extensive feedback provided by drivers and mechanics who purchase vehicles of the brand to compete.

The main requests from the drivers focused on better cornering and braking, so Toyota redesigned the braking system by developing a new configuration for the ABS system. He also updated the roll bar layout and installed a adjustable shock absorber kit provided by the German firm KW Automotive. As if that were not enough, the power of the engine was also modified, increasing it, improving cooling and providing an optimized torque curve.

This engine is a 3.0-liter turbocharged inline six-cylinder, whose power was not declared since it depends on the configuration given to it and the category in which it competes. What is known is that its maximum torque is 487 foot-pounds, which go exclusively to the rear axle.
To touch the ground, it wears 18-inch OZ Racing wheels and to stop the Supra GT4 it has brakes of Brembo origin with 6 pistons at the front and 4 pistons at the rear and brake discs of 390 mm at the front and 355 mm at the rear. We also have an OMP Racing seat for the driver and of course a track specific body kit that adds a huge rear spoiler.

The Toyota GR Supra GT4 Evo is now on sale worldwide, starting at $186,000. Teams currently racing the Supra GT4 can purchase an upgrade kit to bring their unit up to the same Evo spec. To see it in action, the Supra GT4 Evo is scheduled to debut in January 2023 at the 24 Hours of Daytona.
