The Abu Dhabi GP was very emotional for Sebastian Vettel. It was his last race after 299 races and 4 world titles. There were many Tributes and Shows of Respect in that last test for the German.
For example, Fernando Alonso told him before starting the race not to worry for him and enjoy. Esteban Ocon he was “stressed out” during the race as the German was chasing him and I didn’t want to have a touch with him that ruined his last race.
But the most emotional thing was when he crossed the checkered flag. In a radio message, the German left several messages of thanks and support for the team and different people. But on top of that, he left a hope comment both for the British team and for Fernando Alonso Y Lance Stroll looking forward to 2023.
“Thank you for these great two years. You are a great group of people. And I wish you a much better car than we have been able to enjoy these two years. All the best, thank you.”
In this way, the German said goodbye to the British team, who hopes that with the arrival of Fernando Alonsothe new factory and the recruitment of new staff can be taken a step forward.
