Fiat’s high-performance brand, Abarth, has recently unveiled an updated version of its old generation gasoline 500. Now, the all-electric version of the 500 has arrived from the company. This sweet hatchback, which looks quite different from the gasoline vehicle, offers more power than the brand’s classic electric vehicle.
While the Fiat 500 offers 117 horsepower and 220 Nm of torque, Abarth’s electric vehicle offers 155 horsepower and 235 Nm of torque. Although the extra 38 horsepower and 15 Nm torque difference does not seem to be significant, the electric vehicle can complete it in 7 seconds, acting 2 seconds better at 0-100 km/h acceleration.
In addition, in other tests, it was determined that the electric vehicle accelerated 20-40 km/h better compared to the 695 model and the turbocharged 1.4-liter gasoline engine. On the technical side, the Abarth 500e offers us a 42 kWh battery that can be charged up to 85 kW.
In order to pay homage to the year Abarth was founded, called Scorpionissim, only 1,949 units were produced, and the special edition will be available in Acid Green or Poison Blue. The vehicle, which has 18-inch special wheels, offers many sporty details. When we move to the interior, the 10.25-inch multimedia screen and 7-inch digital instrument panel make the vehicle look very stylish. Acid green color attracts attention in some details of the vehicle.
The Abarth 500e generally comes with many features. The vehicle, which has important features from a 360-degree camera to a JBL sound system and wireless charging, also has a convertible version with a black fabric roof.
