He already needed it, he urgently needed to update himself because his front rival, the Avanza 2022, has just been renewed and arrived in Mexico, in the middle of the year. We refer to the new Suzuki Ertiga 2023.
What’s happening?
The Japanese manufacturer brings to the Mexican market, its renewed multipurpose vehicle the Suzuki Ertiga, which debuts mechanical, aesthetic and equipment changes for the 2023 model.
With this we clarify that it is not a new generation, but a relative update, which will help you stay in the public’s preference.
Suzuki Ertiga 2023: Design
On an aesthetic level we find a facelift that includes:
- New grille with larger Suzuki logo.
- Renewed main halogen headlights.
- New LED daytime running lights and fog lights.
- New 16″ aluminum wheels
- The colors in which it is offered are scarlet red, pearl white, magma gray and metallic silver.
At the rear there are no changes, skulls remain intact as fascia, the only thing new is the Ertiga Booster Green emblem, located on the tailgate.
Suzuki Ertiga 2023: Mechanics
Now for this 2023, the Ertiga is Mild- Hybrid, that is, the gasoline engine is assisted by a 12-volt electric generator, which helps improve performance and lower emissions.
- It has a 1.5L four-cylinder engine.
- 103 Hp and 102 Lb-ft.
- The transmission is manual 5 or automatic 4.
- The electric motor is powered by a lithium ion battery.
- The battery is charged by regenerative braking.

It offers the minimum in security:
- 2 front air bags.
- ABS brakes.
- Stability control.
- Hill start assistant.

There are no changes in this section:

While on the outside it had a restyling job, inside it remained intact, no changes. Regarding equipment we find:

- One USB input and two 12-volt outlets.

The 2023 Ertiga will be available at dealerships on November 24 in two versions with the option of automatic or manual transmission.
