The use of Tesla’s “Supechargers” in Mexico is no longer free

What’s going on?

Through a tweet from an account called: Tesla Owners México @co_tesla, an official statement from Tesla was released in which the following was reported:

As of November 14, the use of “superchargers” in Mexico will have a cost for the user.

In other words, Tesla México will start charging for each kWh used to recharge a vehicle’s battery, and An interesting piece of information will also charge vehicles that, even though they are already charged, remain connected and occupying the space designated for charging, thus making it impossible for other Tesla’s that require charging the battery to use.

It is prudent to note that the use of superchargers has been free since 2016 when inaugurated the first one on the Cuernavaca-Acapulco highway.

Until now there is no completely clear information on how much it will cost to charge a Testa using those devicesand on the brand’s website in Mexico, it is suggested to all Tesla customers and users that they have all their data and payment methods updated for proper collection and billing issues, as well as the updated app.

It is prudent to comment that only and to reiterate the charge will be made for the use of the so-called SUPERCHARGERS What are these fast charging devices that are found in shopping centers and where 80% of the battery can be charged in more or less 45 minutes, the other chargers – let’s say, slow – that we can find in restaurants or hotels will continue at no charge to the user.
